Create smooth guest experiences at WORLDS® cinematic music and art shows through confident communication, event oversight, and customer service.
As an on-site Venue Representative, you will represent WORLDS® at Discovery Centre in Halifax. This part-time assignment involves greeting audiences, answering questions, monitoring event flow, and coordinating with venue staff. Success requires initiative, independent work, technology confidence, and calm problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and check in guests for immersive projection shows
- Answer audience questions and support a seamless experience
- Monitor venue activity and address emerging issues quickly
- Direct venue staff when necessary during events
- Relay concerns and improvement feedback to Venue Operations
Requirements:
- Two years of customer service or event experience minimum
- Confident communication with guests and venue staff
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Calm, proactive judgment under pressure
- Leadership skills and comfort using WhatsApp
