Walmart Canada seeks a General Merchandise Associate skilled in customer service and sales-floor organization at its Edmonton location. Support shoppers across varied retail areas.
This General Merchandise Associate role supports customer experience, stocking, merchandising, and sales activities throughout general merchandise. You will greet customers, help locate products, assist purchase decisions, and maintain organized store standards. The position requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight hours when scheduled.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly customer service and resolve or refer concerns
- Maintain assigned sales-floor coverage and support Front End coverage
- Zone, recover, and organize merchandise throughout assigned areas
- Stock products, complete downstocking, and execute modulars
- Follow safety policies and complete safety sweep logs
Requirements:
- Be at least 16 years old
- Work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight hours
- Stand, bend, and perform repetitive stocking tasks
- Lift inventory, equipment, or supplies up to 20 pounds
- Occasionally lift inventory, equipment, or supplies up to 50 pounds
