Job Title : Project Manager Location : Whitehorse, Yukon Company : Earthrise Building Services Inc. Are you ready to play a key role in transforming residential energy efficiency in Yukon? Earthrise Building Services Inc., a dynamic startup and Yukon's premier retrofit accelerator, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to help execute a community‑scale residential retrofit initiative. We are passionate about making a tangible difference in the lives of homeowners and driving our communities towards a sustainable future. If you are an experienced professional with a background in architecture, project management, construction management, or contract management, we want to hear from you Position Overview As the Project Manager, you will be part of a team responsible for managing all project requirements, ensuring the successful execution of a significant residential retrofit initiative. This is a two‑year term position with the possibility of extension, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a high‑impact project and grow with an innovative company. Responsibilities Manage and administer change orders and change directives. Develop and track project budgets. Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration. Liaise with clients, addressing their needs and concerns while maintaining strong working relationships. Apply expertise in architecture, project management, construction management, and/or contract management to oversee all project phases. Ensure projects are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget. Coordinate with various stakeholders, including government branches and community organizations. Report on project progress to clients and funders. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans. Identify and mitigate project risks. Administer contracts with suppliers and subcontractors. Qualifications A bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on managing complex construction or retrofit projects. Proven ability to manage change orders, change directives, and contracts. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment. A passion for energy conservation and reducing carbon emissions. Assets Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Experience with residential retrofit projects. Familiarity with local Yukon construction practices and regulations. What We Offer A competitive salary range of $80,000 - $95,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. A two-year term position with the possibility of extension.
