Sr. Manager, IAM Business Analysis

Sr. Manager, IAM Business Analysis (Global Security) RBC’s Identity Access Management (IAM) Business Systems Analysis team, within Global Security (GS), is undertaking multiple complex enterprise and customer‑related IAM initiatives. We are seeking a Senior Manager to help deliver these projects by coordinating, developing, leading and executing business‑analysis activities across IAM IT, Strategy and business lines. What will you do? Understand the business context and assess the impacts of proposed changes on people, processes, access management, security policies and technology. Lead BA team members to perform a gap analysis between current and future states; assess and recommend the highest value‑added solution options, investigate and analyze business situations and identify options for business improvement. Continuously identify potential issues, conflicts and risks, analyze, mitigate and, where appropriate, raise escalation. Collaborate and contribute to cross‑functional enterprise initiatives and manage the completion of assigned deliverables. Establish strong working relationships across business units and platforms to build influence and impact with key partners. Collaborate with groups to define and achieve deliverables and ensure initiatives are effectively integrated into RBC procedures and processes. Contribute to ongoing administrative program activities as required. Assist in implementing portfolio objectives leveraging business‑analysis expertise. What do you need to succeed? Must have: Relevant university degree and/or post‑graduate degree in Business Analysis or related work experience. Minimum 5‑7 years of Business Analysis experience. Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication and strong presentation skills. Ability to facilitate discussions with multiple stakeholders and influence key decision makers. Experience as a team or project lead – ability to coach others and drive activities towards project deliverables and goals. Experience working on both Waterfall and Agile project methodology with good understanding of SDLC fundamentals. Nice‑to‑have: Working knowledge of IAM practices and technology (e.g., Entra ID, Okta, CyberArk). Understanding of RBC LASS policies. Certifications: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Institute – Professional in Business Analysis (PMI‑PBA) Certification or Master’s Certificate in Business Analysis or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
