Ecommerce Growth Marketing Manager

THE ROLE
New Metric is looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to help drive and scale our e-commerce business in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, where flexibility, creativity, and a hands-on approach are essential. As part of a high-performing, dynamic team, you'll lead initiatives to maximize customer engagement and drive e-commerce growth while ensuring a seamless customer experience. The position reports to the Head of E-Commerce and is a full-time role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Marketing Calendar Execution: Develop and manage an agile and results-driven 30-day and 90-day marketing calendar for e-commerce channels. Ability to pivot strategies quickly based on performance data.
- Paid Marketing: Lead and optimize digital advertising campaigns (PPC, Paid Social) across key platforms,with a balance of in house activities and managing relationships with digital agencies to maximize performance. Focus on scaling and driving results in a cost-effective manner.
- Email Marketing: Oversee and optimize the in-house email program (Klaviyo) to drive customer engagement, loyalty, and sales. Develop segmentation strategies that tailor content and offers to different customer groups.
- Performance and ROI: Manage ROAS/MER and implement attribution modeling to enhance customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value. Use advanced digital marketing metrics to guide decision-making and communicate performance results clearly to stakeholders.
- Marketing Technology and Automation: Leverage and optimize our high-performance Shopify stack, including tools like Klaviyo, Yotpo, ReBuy Engine, Gorgias, and Wonderment. Always exploring new tools and tech to drive marketing efficiency.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and scale CRM programs to drive long-term customer loyalty, working across multiple brands and segments to ensure personalized engagement.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of eCommerce or Digital Marketing experience, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment where agility and innovation are key.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, customer lifecycle, and CRM systems with a proven ability to drive measurable growth in e-commerce.
- Analytical mindset with a strong ability to interpret data, develop insights, and use data to inform strategy and optimize performance (Google Analytics, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with eCommerce marketing platforms i.e. Shopify, Klaviyo, and other platforms/apps.
- Creative problem-solving skills with a flexible, resourceful approach to overcoming challenges.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to drive projects, influence stakeholders, and manage cross-functional teams in a fast-moving environment.
- Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced, loosely structured, creative environment. Must be adaptable, proactive, and comfortable with ambiguity.
- Startup mindset – comfortable with a rapidly evolving landscape and willing to wear multiple hats as necessary.
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working in entertainment, comedy, or media-driven brands.
- Prior experience managing or contributing to a direct-to-consumer e-commerce business.
