Support kitchen operations through food preparation, meal plating, dishwashing, and cleaning in a casual 12-hour day shift. No travel is required.
ESS Canada seeks Kitchen General Help to complete varied food service duties. The work includes preparing and cooking food, distributing supplies, and following approved recipes. You will also maintain sanitation, safety, storage, and portion-control standards while working independently or with a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense food for next-day production and plate individual meals
- Prepare and cook food as needed
- Store, wrap, date, rotate, and distribute food supplies
- Wash dishes, clean work areas, and remove garbage
- Follow recipes, portion controls, temperatures, sanitation, and safety standards
Requirements:
- Food Safe certification
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform duties physically
