If you are looking to be part of a valued culture in a flexible, medium sized company then they are exactly who you're looking for Job Description Supervising the construction project and all the operations on the site Ensuring that the quality of work and materials is upheld - Upholding Quality Assurance and Quality Control standards Organizing and Supervising site staff, trades and contractors and ensuring that they are performing as required and reporting progress Tracking/logging daily manpower on site and maintaining a project diary Ensuring that the health and safety project plans and MOL requirements are implemented and followed Ensuring that the budget is followed; work with the Project Manager in managing all Division 1 costs Creating, Monitoring, and updating project schedules and ensuring the schedule and look ahead schedules are followed and provide updates to the Project Manager/Senior Management as required This is a proactive search for upcoming pipeline of projects MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class otherwise protected under applicable human rights legislation. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled and all other qualified applicants The Successful Applicant 10+ years experience in construction as a Mid-Rise/Hotel Construction Site Superintendent working on multiple full-cycle Hotel projects Have a post secondary education in Business, Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent (MBA and M. Eng. Preferred) Have all necessary certifications like Working at Heights, WHIMIS, First Aid and Basics of Supervision Possess thorough knowledge in designing and building large scale multi-unit commercial and/or family construction projects Able to read construction working drawings including and not limited to architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and landscape drawings What's on Offer From your first day you will be involved in shaping the direction of the projects $110,000 - 130,000+ base salary Excellent Benefits and Paid Vacation DON'T MISS OUT - APPLY NOW #J-18808-Ljbffr
