About the role Kubelt is looking to hire their first product designer to lead product design and research. As an early member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping strategy, product roadmap, culture, and decisions for the company. This role is for those who are excited about early stage startups, ambitious and eager to accelerate their growth and responsibilities, and be on the forefront of the web3 industry. About Kubelt Kubelt is a serverless dApp development platform that helps you easily create dApps with unified blockchain APIs and out of the box support for local-first auth, storage, databases and more. With Kubelt, applications can finally achieve independence from large centralized cloud providers and provide their users with simple secure and private applications. Kubelt also pairs users with an identity passport called 3ID that provides enhanced security and direct messaging features for developers and users. Kubelt is backed by leading Silicon Valley and Web3 investors. Job Description Role/Responsibilities Build and guide our growing team and product as a foundational design leader. Owning core product design and taking new features from ideation, to prototyping, to user testing, to production, to post-launch reflection. Identify customer problems, set strategy, and establish vision. Conduct user research including interviews, usability testing, surveys, field research and other methods. Decomposition of work into product backlog. Mockups and design in collaboration with designers. Contribute to documentation in collaboration with engineers. About you 5 or more years relevant design experience at a high tech, product-driven company. A strong portfolio that showcases a track record of shipping high-quality visual and interaction design work. Experience in driving a user-centered design process and working collaboratively to ship end-to-end features at scale. Ability to form clear hypotheses around design decisions and lay out a path to validate them Fluency in Figma and prototyping tools. Nice to have, but not required: B2B software design experience. Crypto/web3 interest (professional or personal) — e.g. you’ve used a dApp, joined a DAO, or bought an NFT.
