Lead mechanical design with HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection expertise in full-time work supporting building, industrial, and equipment projects.
This Intermediate and Senior Mechanical Designer role requires advanced technical knowledge and ten-plus years of relevant experience. You will prepare designs, coordinate multidisciplinary work, and apply project requirements, client specifications, codes, and standards. The position also includes mentoring junior designers and supporting project planning, proposals, and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and review mechanical design drawings and technical documentation
- Calculate HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
- Coordinate designs with engineers and project managers
- Apply client specifications, codes, and project requirements
- Mentor junior designers and guide professional development
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Technology
- Ten-plus years of relevant mechanical design experience
- Experience with HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, or industrial systems
- Proficiency using AutoCAD and Revit MEP
- Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills
Use advanced mechanical design, coordination, and mentoring expertise across HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and industrial systems.
