Join us as a Maintenance Technician IV. Responsibilities Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on production equipment such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, mechanical seals, laser alignment and other complex equipment. Maintain operations and surveillance of plant utilities and ancillary equipment, related control panels, and building control systems. Diagnose equipment malfunctions and determine corrective actions using technical manuals, schematics, and testing instruments. Monitor, calibrate, and maintain critical systems such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, mechanical seals, laser alignment and other complex equipment. Ensure compliance with CCOHS, CEC/NFC, and other safety regulations. Assist in developing preventive maintenance schedules and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Participate in on‑call rotation and respond to emergency maintenance issues. Operate forklifts, lifts, and other specialized equipment safely. Qualifications A valid electrician license is strongly preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or associate degree a plus. Instrumentation and calibration experience considered an asset. Sound knowledge of manufacturing/industrial equipment. Minimum 8–10 years of experience in industrial or facilities maintenance, with expertise in one or more technical trades (e.g., welding, electrical, or mechanical). Strong problem‑solving and diagnostic skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Experience with welding, minor plumbing, refrigeration considered a plus. Proficiency with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems). Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. Location & Compensation Location: Ottawa, ON. Expected pay range: $42–$47 per hour, and application deadline: January 30, 2026.
