Records Specialist

Our government client is currently seeking a highly Recordkeeping Specialist to assist in an ongoing project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Access to Information Experience c oordinate and negotiate consultations regarding sensitive records for release to the public.
- Liaise and communicate with agencies and departments of the GoC, verbally and in writing in English and French.
- Experience with Intelligence Agencies must have successfully* coordinating and negotiating consultations, with all involved parties and stakeholders, of complex, sensitive records, for release to the public.
- Make recommendations in accordance with applicable legislation.
- Provide guidance and recommendations on operational directives related to declassification, disclosure, and consultation services.
Mandatory Criteria:
- Must have experience successfully* applying, analyzing, and interpreting operational policies related to intelligence agencies
- Coordinate and negotiate consultations of complex, sensitive records.
- Apply, analyze, and interpret operational policies related to intelligence agencies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
- Experience working with government agencies and departments.
- Proficiency in English and French (verbal and written).
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Contract Duration: 2 years
