Who We’re Looking For We’re looking for a Toronto-based executive with a deep understanding of the mining industry and over 10 years of experience in mining operations, project management, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will bring a strong leadership record and a demonstrated ability to oversee complex operations and foster strategic partnerships. Qualifications 10+ years of Mining Experience: Expertise in the mining sector, including project management, regulatory compliance, and risk management. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Geology (P.Geo.), Mining Engineering (P.Eng.), Business, or Finance. Advanced credentials in mining-related fields are highly desirable. Leadership Skills: Proven track record in executive leadership, with attention to detail and the ability to oversee multiple facets of mining operations. Key Responsibilities As CEO, you will lead and direct the organization to achieve its vision and strategic goals, while driving growth, operational excellence, and value creation across the business. Responsibilities include: Strategic Leadership : Set and implement the company’s vision, aligning with Ore Group’s broader mission to drive growth, efficiency, and industry leadership. Operational Oversight : Oversee project execution, land management, contractor relations, and regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to environmental standards. Financial Stewardship : Lead budget and financial planning, focusing on cost-efficiency and resource optimization across projects. Stakeholder Engagement : Build and maintain relationships with First Nations communities, government bodies, investors, and internal teams, ensuring open communication and strong alliances. Growth and Expansion : Identify and pursue growth opportunities, fostering a culture of innovation, teamwork, and professional development.
