Build custom trailer solutions as an experienced Fitter Welder using steel fabrication and flux core welding practices. Work with a team in transportation manufacturing.
This experienced Fitter Welder role involves fabricating steel sub-assemblies and chassis from concept through finished product. You will read blueprints, interpret weld symbols, and demonstrate strong technical fabrication abilities. The work supports custom trailer solutions for transportation industry customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Weld and fabricate steel sub-assemblies and chassis
- Use blueprints and interpret various weld symbols independently
- Square and weld geometric components accurately
- Measure and calibrate fabrication equipment
- Operate overhead cranes and other mobile equipment
Requirements:
- Minimum C Level Welding Ticket or equivalent experience
- Ability to successfully pass a weld test
- At least two years fabrication or manufacturing experience
- Proficiency with flux core and metal core welding
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and communicate in English
