Overview GeoSpectrum Technologies Inc. is seeking a DevOps Specialist to design, implement, and improve our DevOps infrastructure, building toolchains for our high-performance marine acoustic systems. This hands-on, high-impact role requires clear communication and meaningful metrics to drive quality and efficiency across the development lifecycle. Responsibilities Design, implement, maintain, and improve the DevOps toolchain. Propose and integrate new tools into the DevOps toolchain. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback. Provide clear communication around inputs and outputs. Define and communicate metrics for the toolchain. Continuously propose and implement improvements to DevOps processes and tooling, including metrics. Stay current with industry trends and technologies. Develop domain knowledge related to underwater acoustics, signal processing, data visualization, and human factors engineering. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science or related field. 3-5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or infrastructure automation roles. Experience with CI/CD pipeline management and building/maintaining DevOps pipelines. Extensive experience with Jenkins for automating builds, tests, and deployments. Experience identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in build and deployment pipelines. Strong understanding of secure coding practices, vulnerability scanning, and compliance in workflows. Experience using Bitbucket, artifact repos like Nexus Repository Manager, Linux, and scripting. Experience managing VMware servers is an asset. Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is an asset. Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus and Grafana is an asset. Domain knowledge of acoustics, signal processing, marine mammals, or oceanography is an asset.
