We are currently seeking a talented Mid‑Level Corporate Securities Associate to join the esteemed Corporate Securities practice group in Vancouver. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for the right candidate to elevate their legal and client‑service skills through engagement in local, national, and international corporate finance transactions, public mergers and acquisitions, and a range of securities law matters. Key Qualifications and Attributes Experience: 2 to 5 years of post‑call experience in corporate securities law, with a focus on capital markets and M&A, acquired at a national, regional, or reputable securities boutique law firm. Transactional Expertise: Proven ability to represent issuers, underwriters, and shareholders in domestic and cross‑border public offerings and private placements of debt, equity, and structured finance products. Public M&A Proficiency: Experience with public M&A transactions, including take‑over bids, plans of arrangement, and corporate reorganizations. Regulatory Acumen: Familiarity with corporate governance requirements, stock exchange compliance, continuous disclosure obligations, and general regulatory compliance. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and drafting abilities with a keen attention to detail. Client‑Focused: A strong client‑oriented mindset. Academic Excellence: Above‑average academics. Legal Qualifications: Qualified to practice law in Canada. Our client is offering the following Competitive Compensation: A tier‑one lockstep base salary that ranks among the top in the Vancouver market. Relocation Support: Assistance available if applicable. Work Flexibility: Hybrid work environment. Salary Range: $145,000 – $185,000 per annum.
