Responsibilities Take ownership of the architecture, design, development, deployment and operations of the solutions you will develop, using DevOps practices, pair programming and other modern development methodologies Be an active, solution‑oriented member of autonomous, cross‑functional agile teams collaborating with Product Owners, Engineers, Designers, and Business Intelligence teams Having an in‑depth understanding of HelloFresh’s core product and architecture and act as an ambassador for software solutions offering support and mentorship to colleagues All other duties, as assigned Qualifications Strong engineering and architecture experience interfacing with backend APIs and microservices with past experience building out an end‑to‑end platforms (backend & frontend) 5+ years experience developing in Javascript with minimum 3 years deploying live applications in ReactJS or NodeJS Deep knowledge in web development best‑practices when it comes to the developer experience, website performance & observability (ie: web design patterns, testing strategies & deployment pipelines) Proficiency in SEO, including a strong grasp of web crawlers, indexing, and Core Web Vitals Demonstrated ability to guide and support engineers through 1‑on‑1 and group mentoring.
