Paladin Security seeks a Security Guard for a busy acute care hospital serving York Region. The position centers on patrols, access control, camera monitoring, and emergency response. You will also document incidents, de-escalate conflicts, and support hospital staff and local law enforcement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patrols across hospital grounds, hallways, rooms, and entryways
- Monitor cameras and alarms, reporting suspicious activity immediately
- Control access to restricted areas and entry points
- Respond to emergencies, alarms, evacuations, and security threats
- Document activities, incidents, and security concerns in detailed reports
Requirements:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid First Aid and CPR Level C certification
- High School Diploma or GED
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
