Our client in the Fintech space is seeking a fulltime/permanent Product Strategy and Operations Lead to partner with the Chief Product and Technology Officer and Product & Engineering leadership to connect strategy to execution—driving planning, alignment, and operational excellence across the R&D organization. Responsibilities Lead quarterly and annual strategic planning with the CPTO and Product & Engineering leadership, translating company priorities into clear, executable initiatives with defined outcomes and success metrics. Own and evolve the operating cadence for R&D, including planning cycles, leadership reviews, KPIs, retrospectives, and executive reporting. Ensure alignment between product strategy, roadmap investments, and overall company objectives. Act as a trusted advisor and extension of the CPTO, representing them in select forums and driving follow-through on strategic actions. Drive execution excellence through strong prioritization, dependency management, risk visibility, and transparent progress tracking. Coordinate cross-functional initiatives spanning Product, Engineering, GTM, Data, AI, and Platform teams. Partner with Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure go-to-market readiness for major launches. Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase focus, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making. Build and maintain decision-support artifacts such as roadmaps, initiative trackers, and KPI dashboards. Champion a culture of clarity, accountability, simplicity, and high-velocity execution across R&D. Requirements 5–10 years of experience in strategy consulting, product operations, technical program management, business operations, or equivalent roles. Proven track record leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in B2B SaaS or technology-driven organizations. Strong understanding of product development lifecycles, Agile methodologies, and how modern Product & Engineering teams operate. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complexity for executive and board-level audiences. Experience designing and operating planning and execution cadences (OKRs, quarterly planning, retrospectives, reporting). Comfortable working with metrics, dashboards, and execution frameworks to measure impact and organizational effectiveness. Ability to lead through influence, build alignment, and operate effectively with senior stakeholders. Experience partnering with executive leaders (CPTO, CPO, CTO, or VP-level) strongly preferred. Background in B2B SaaS, fintech, enterprise software, or data/AI-enabled products is a plus. PMP, CSM, or similar certification is optional.
