Responsibilities
This position is primarily responsible of machining all gates from the casting.

When casting is received from pre-inspection, visual check if all sell material has been removed, validates router.
- Uses conventional milling machine to machine all gates from the casting as per requirements.
- Uses required fixturing for the specific castings and inspects fixtures for damage and compliance.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Respects the values and code of ethics of the company.
- Respects the Environment, Health & Safety programs of the company.
Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to use measuring instruments.
- Ability to use a conventional milling machine
- Ability to handle hoists
- Visual dexterity
- Manual dexterity
- Physical standing all day
- Uses sound judgment
High School Diploma or equivalent machining training
