Job Title: Application Release Engineer (Websphere) Job ID: Job Location: Toronto, ONT, CAN (2 days minimum onsite) Job Travel Location(s): # Positions: 1 Employment Type: W2 Duration:Long Term # of Layers:0 Work Eligibility:All Work Authorizations are Permitted – No Visa Transfers Key Technology:MS Office, Agile, UNIX, WebSphere, JBoss Job Responsibilities: Create non-functional test plans for application, M/W and D/B technologies on a project-by-project basis Execute test plan scenarios using scripts if available Conduct non-functional testing including operability, failover and negative Create reports of test procedures, defects observed, & test result metrics Skills and Experience Required: Required 5+ years in the IT Technology field Knowledge of ITS internal Business practices and related tools/processes would be an asset. Strong change management skills Excellent UNIX (AIX preferred) experience. Excellent Windows Server experience. Experience with WebSphere, Apache, and Tomcat. Experience with Cloud promotions. Knowledge of Azure and JBoss Knowledge of Confluence and Jira Desired Exposure to SOA based apps. IIS experience Knowledge of Agile and DevOps tools (i.e. Jenkins, Bitbucket, Nexus, etc.) and methodologies Education: College / University or equivalent work experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
