Job description:The

Quality Platform Lead

will directly oversee and lead quality initiatives related to the Waukesha product line. This includes managing the quality discipline supported by all relevant company functions related to engineering, sourcing and services, to ensure all product quality defects and non-conformities are tracked, actionized and resolved in a timely manner.

Primary Responsibilities:

Accountable for launch and change control of relevant platform developments, including the release of new enginesAccountable for Quality Key Performance Indicators relevant to the engine platformsLeading issue screening and continuous improvement processesDriving quality plans and meeting production targetsPerforming both servicing and packaging auditsManaging and controlling quality costs that are supported by managementLead and champion Product Quality Issue Management (PQIM) reviews and lead and facilitating root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actionsPerform field failure and reliability analysis based on product performance in the field to identify top field failure modes and drive resolution through cross functional teams to meet or exceed customer defect targets.Promote Lean Six Sigma integration by promoting the strength of both methods to achieve business goalsLeading and be a team member on multiple projects simultaneously within stringent time constraints, using discretion and independent judgment with the ability to maintain a good working relationship with all co-workers, stakeholders and clientsRequired profile:Technical Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 5+ years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 3 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required.University degree in Engineering (EX: Mechanical Engineering) preferred.Exposure working with new product development of combustion engines or similar industrial productsExperience with product management of high expense and complex technical productsSolid Lean, continuous improvement and root cause analysis background with prior process improvement assignmentsCertified Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma would be an assetFamiliarity with product Quality and Reliability methodologies including, MTBF, FMEA, Causal Effects Analysis, 8D, 5 Whys etc.Excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills, customer focused, enthusiastic.Willingness and ability to travelCompany description:What if energy supply could be sustainable, affordable, and reliable at the same time?
