* Providing oversight and accountability for the diversionary process, escalating issues to the Academic Integrity Director where needed.* Leading diversionary process case meetings with students.* Developing procedures and resources for Faculties and for students both proactively and responsively.* Planning and conducting consultations with key stakeholders around the impacts of the diversionary process including University Counsel, Faculties, the Ombudsperson for Students, student leaders and student advocates.* Responding to requests for information and questions from the UBC community around the diversion option. Responding to problems if they arise.* Responding to requests for information and questions around the academic misconduct regulation from the UBC community. Responding to problems if they arise.* Providing education and consultation to Dean’s Offices and staff in the Faculties for the diversionary process, including meeting with Faculties and establishing new partnerships with the appointment or change in Dean’s Delegates within Faculties.* Evaluating the effectiveness of the diversionary process in consultation with the Office of the Provost and Vice-President Academic, University Counsel, Dean’s Offices, staff and other partners, and continuously evolving practices and guidance based on feedback received.* Conducting regular check ins with Faculties (Dean’s delegates and staff) to ensure awareness and education needs are met around the diversionary process.* Proactively identifying risks and opportunities in the diversionary process through identifying gaps and vulnerabilities within the process, and providing strategies to close the gaps and recommending improvements.* Developing and enforcing an annual review cycle for the diversionary process to ensure compliance around Integrity Plan records and Integrity Plan outcomes.* Developing systems to ensure privacy and confidentiality of the diversionary process and records of the Academic Integrity Hub are maintained.* Conducting regular needs assessments around the use and impact of the diversion option, and optimizing the Academic Integrity Hub process as needed.* Collecting data for the use of internal counsel and leadership on the diversionary process. Preparing statistics and highly confidential reports as requested for the use of internal counsel and leadership, including Deans, etc.* Developing best practices and resources, in consultation with Faculties, University Counsel, Ombuds and student leader and advocates. Staying up-to-date with current practices in other institutions regarding the diversionary process, including practices in equity and accessibility, restorative practices, and identifying emerging areas and priorities for the University.* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with Faculties and administrative units including PACSD, University Council, VPS, Ombudsperson Office, AMS and GSS, student advocates, etc., to align efforts for a more centralized approach to academic integrity.* Training new team members in the Academic Integrity Hub in the facilitation of the diversion option.* Consulting with Faculties and students around academic integrity education needs and programs.* Creating awareness of academic integrity through workshops, presentations and resource development, including delivering custom workshops.* Evaluating the effectiveness of programs; determining and implementing changes to educational materials and practices where required to better meet educational goals of academic integrity initiatives.* Providing expertise in the area of academic integrity, and acting as an expert resource for the campus community.* Under the direction of the Academic Integrity Director, will lead one or more projects depending on the needs of the Academic Integrity Hub.* Participating in other duties as needed.* A good understanding of the complexities of academic integrity in a higher education context is essential.* Demonstrated ability to understand and apply policies and procedures and knowledge of UBC structure.* Strong project-management, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.* Knowledge of workshop design and implementation.* Experience delivering presentations or workshops in a university environment.* Experience working with students, staff and faculty in a research-intensive university.* Excellent verbal and written skills. High attention to detail, and rigor.* Strong sense of initiative and creativity.* Able to work effectively independently and in a team environment.* Demonstrated success in using a variety of technologies to deliver programming. Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. WordPress experience would be an asset.* Excellent understanding of the operational structure of UBC is highly desirable.* Ability to exercise tact and discretion, effectively engage and work across a broad range of external and internal stakeholders including; faculty members, department heads, functional experts, and other project specialists, regulatory agencies, and partner institutions.* Ability to accurately gather, organize, analyze, and synthesize complex information from a wide variety of stakeholders, priories and make strategic recommendations for action.* Able to work across multiple projects to synthesize issues and challenges, identify key information and issues, and effectively resolve. Ability to review, summarize reports, set priorities, organize workload and work within deadlines in a busy and complex environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
