Opportunity Summary Reporting to the Project Director, the Senior Project Manager will lead client relationships, own project execution, and confidently communicate with all stakeholders. You will collaborate with the team to deliver creative solutions for our clients and internal or external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Manage the project life cycle from start to finish, ensuring profitability and schedule adherence. Play an active role in business development, including proposal submissions, presentations, client/consultant relationship management. Work closely with the site team to develop the project plan, engineering methods, and monitor the schedule. Develop recovery strategies when the project schedule or budget is jeopardized. Understand and enforce prime contract and subcontract responsibilities. Negotiate and issue subcontracts, major purchase orders, and monitor their progress and schedule. Coordinate with the accounting department to ensure accurate and timely project accounting. Prepare and issue progress applications to the owner according to established schedules. Review and approve subcontractor payment applications, and expedite owner payments within contract terms. Process all change orders, including negotiation and assessment of cost and schedule impact. Manage all facets of project close‑out, including archiving documents, maintenance and warranty manuals, deficiencies, and warranty work. Participate in tender closings when requested. Supervise, mentor, coach, and train project personnel. Establish and maintain positive relationships with external and internal clients and represent the company at industry functions and events. University or college diploma in a relevant construction or engineering program. Strong computer skills, including experience with MS Office, scheduling and PM software such as Procore. Strong professional presence with all stakeholders, particularly client relationships. Experience in all forms of contracts and delivery methods. Solid knowledge in reviewing and negotiating construction contracts. Strong technical, business, financial and legal acumen. Effective communication skills (oral, written, presentations), with the ability to translate technical information for non‑technical audiences. Demonstrated leadership and team‑building capabilities. Knowledge of key principles in bid preparation, quantity take‑off, sub‑trade procurement, pricing and bid closing procedures. Excellent relationship‑building skills and problem‑solving ability.
