Overview Senior Fullstack Engineer (Node.js + React.js) – Goway Travel Location: Toronto - Remote • Job Type: Permanent Full Time Job Purpose Goway Travel is introducing a new and pivotal role for a Senior Full-stack Engineer who will help build and scale the next generation of our travel operations platforms. In this role, you’ll take the lead in designing and developing high-impact solutions, mentoring fellow engineers, and contributing to key architectural decisions that drive our digital transformation forward. You’ll collaborate closely with both business and technical stakeholders in an integrated delivery environment — where your ideas, leadership, and technical expertise will directly influence how we create seamless, world-class travel experiences. Responsibilities Lead design and development of features across Node.js, NestJS, and React.js Design and implement performant APIs and serverless services within AWS Work with product, architecture, and operational teams to define scalable technical approaches Conduct code reviews, contribute to standards, and guide implementation quality Drive continuous integration, testing, and automation improvements Qualifications 7–10+ years of software engineering experience, with strong fullstack expertise Deep knowledge of Node.js, NestJS, and modern React frameworks Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, ECS/Fargate, Cognito, RDS/Postgres, OpenSearch) Strong grounding in system integration, REST/JSON, and DTO-based architectures Experience with Agile delivery, Jira, GitHub, and modern test frameworks Understanding of travel domain or operational systems (desirable) Excellent communication and leadership skills What to Expect from Goway Competitive salary with performance incentives and paid time off, including personal days and a birthday day off Commitment to professional growth with ongoing training and development Generous paid time off: three weeks of vacation, six personal days, and a birthday day off Exclusive travel perks and discounts Opportunities to collaborate across offices in multiple locations Goway is an equal-opportunity employer; we celebrate differences and are committed to an inclusive workplace.
