**2026 Summer Student Opportunity****Power Engineering****Hourly Rate: $27.47-$34.98****(multiple vacancies)****Dryden Fibre Canada is currently seeking Power Engineering students to become part of our Power & Recovery department for Summer 2026.** **The work term will be from approximately May to September 2026. The city of Dryden is located on the North shoreline of the Wabigoon Chain of Lakes along the Trans-Canada Highway. It is located midway between Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Thunder Bay, Ontario, and is surrounded by wilderness, lakes, and landscapes.****Responsibilities of a Power & Recovery Summer Student:*** Inspecting, reporting on, lubricating, and cleaning systems such as bark and ash handling systems.* General housekeeping and other duties as assigned by the Shift Engineer.* Shift work, evenings and weekends are required.**An ideal candidate for this summer student opportunity includes:*** **Currently enrolled** in a college **Power Engineering Technician Program** or its **equivalent**.* Will **have completed a minimum of Fourth-Class** modules towards an Operating Engineers certification.* A positive work attitude and a keen sense of responsibility, particularly with respect to safety and environmental policies and procedures.* Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and listening).* A safety-oriented mindset with the desire to enforce and follow mill safety and environmental policies and procedures.**When applying please include, confirmation of full-time attendance/registration from the post-secondary institution that you are presently attending.**If you are interested in an opportunity to work with an organization that is an Equal Opportunity Employer, consider joining our Team.
