The role will enable future product/service development, scalability, and innovation. As the Deployment Lead, you will partner with technology and business teams, and vendors to create and manage the end‑to‑end scope for project deployments in the staging and production environments. Your focus will be on efficiency, reliability, and adherence to enterprise and industry standards. Creating and managing end‑to‑end deployment plans for scheduling, planning, and controlling the deployment process. Integrating deployment management practices into the delivery process to offer reliable, repeatable IT services at appropriate service levels. Converting technical expertise into recommendations for efficiency, reliability, scalability, and security; driving best practices and engaging with stakeholders. Establishing infrastructure for tracking and monitoring updates, and converting information into reporting, recommendations, schedules, and decisions. Providing trusted and reliable communication and reporting with confidence that all information is comprehensive, accurate, and confirmed. Managing correspondence with clear articulation of impacts. Providing subject‑matter expert guidance to the IT Support segments and participating in remediation and collision avoidance strategies. Identifying and educating on control and communication failures to prevent issues. Providing updates to senior leadership on accomplishments and opportunities. Protecting the organization’s interests through identification, management, and escalation of risks and dependencies. Using IT workflow and collaboration tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence; creating and managing work items independently. Understanding Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models and aligning with multiple teams. Applying DevOps and continuous delivery principles and practices. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 5+ years of deployment, ITS, or IT project management experience (formal training preferred). 8‑10 years of experience in information systems operations, service management, systems analysis, or development. Advanced knowledge of software development and service management lifecycles. Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross‑functional work teams toward task completion. Effective leadership and analytical skills. Well‑developed executive communication skills. Proficiency in developing resolutions, plans, and strategies for operational advancement. Experience in problem resolution and strategies for operational improvement. Drive to stay abreast of industry and business trends. Key Accountabilities Resolve incidents and problems, prioritize and escalate as required. Maintain application and system availability meeting or exceeding standards. Schedule packaging and release new applications in a timely manner. Improve production environment stability and monitor performance. Provide day‑to‑day support, accurate problem identification, and timely issue resolution. Communicate project status, negotiate change approvals, and ensure minimal impact to business. Develop and maintain documentation and best‑practice guidance. Support disaster recovery testing and plan review. Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance revenue and reduce costs. Work effectively in a team, prioritizing workload to meet timelines.
