Account Manager, Eastern Region Location: Canada, Québec, New Brunswick Employment type: Full-Time, Permanent Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Responsibilities Apply technical and chemical knowledge within the lime industry to optimize business relationships while contributing to maintaining and developing client accounts. Proactively lead a strategic customer account planning process, developing mutual performance objectives. Maintain close relationships with clients at various organizational levels, including senior management, operations, technical services, and supply chain. Identify and develop growth opportunities by collaborating with customer service, marketing, operations, logistics, finance, and other Graymont functions. Negotiate pricing and contract terms with current and potential customers to achieve the company's profitability goals. Provide technical support regarding the use and handling of our products, collaborating with plant personnel to meet customer expectations for product quality. Develop a key understanding of the overall lime market and its challenges (supply chain, competition). Participate in preparing the sales budget and operational plans, and regularly provide accurate updates to sales forecasts. Adhere to established sales processes, including the use of various tools to produce required reports and statistics. Support the credit department regarding overdue accounts and assist in their collection. Qualifications Strong technical and/or chemical knowledge and ability to solve complex challenges. Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry or related discipline; equivalent experience acceptable. Proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Minimum of five (5) years of sales experience in industrial markets; experience in mining sector an asset. Operational experience to understand customer pain points and product application. Willingness to travel within Eastern Canada (30‑50%) and occasionally across North America. Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
