Position: Continuous Improvement Engineer Location: Peterborough ON – Manufacturing Facility Key Responsibilities Champion productivity initiatives across the plant by driving waste reduction, improving line efficiency, and identifying opportunities for operational cost savings. Enhance equipment and production line reliability, collaborating closely with the Engineering team to prepare business cases and proposals for capital upgrades to machinery and facility infrastructure. Utilize continuous improvement methodologies—such as Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, FMEA—and advanced statistical/process control tools to analyze performance gaps, implement corrective actions, and measure post-implementation impact. Lead and facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) sessions to resolve recurring issues and prevent future operational disruptions. Support the Business Unit’s agile teams by acting as Scrum Master, ensuring productivity-related features, sprints, and stories are properly executed and tracked. Manage administrative aspects of productivity programs, including updating and maintaining active projects within the company’s Global Powersteering system. Maintain and update the three-year productivity roadmap for your assigned production area, ensuring alignment with plant and corporate objectives. Lead improvements within Environmental Health & Safety programs as the designated owner for specific safety initiatives and processes. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering 1–2 years of process or continuous improvement experience within manufacturing or industrial environments (co-op terms or internships count) Strong organizational abilities and clear, professional communication skills. Excellent presentation and influencing skills, with the confidence to work with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to collaborate effectively with production floor employees, operators, maintenance technicians, business unit leaders, supply chain partners, and supervisory teams. #J-18808-Ljbffr
