Role Overview Our Toronto office is currently recruiting for a Senior Network Infrastructure Analyst in our Information Technology, reporting to the Manager, IT Infrastructure. The Senior Infrastructure Analyst will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and securing our high‑performance network infrastructure, both in physical environments and on Microsoft Azure. We are looking for someone with advanced expertise in enterprise networking, Microsoft Azure, server virtualization, and security solutions. In addition to these responsibilities, the position also includes oversight of troubleshooting, security compliance, disaster recovery planning, and network access control. It’s a dynamic role that requires someone who can collaborate effectively across all organizational levels and is flexible enough to provide on‑call support when necessary. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Infrastructure Management Develop and standardize network architecture strategies using Cisco technologies for enterprise, data center, and disaster recovery environments. Implement, support, and maintain Microsoft Azure Landing Zone. Implement advanced routing, switching, and WAN optimization. Administer WAN services, including MPLS, LAN Extension, IPSec tunnels, ISP providers, and cloud ExpressRoute connections. Participate in scalability planning, recommending and evaluating network hardware. Integrate and support cloud services to enhance scalability, flexibility, and cost‑efficiency. Configure and support VMware and network storage. Security & Compliance Configure and manage internet firewalls and security policies. Support and manage Network Access Control (NAC) system. Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal protocols. Maintain security patches and monitor data communications for risks. Participate in the change management processes. Maintain inventory of equipment, spare parts, and materials. Performance & Troubleshooting Monitor network performance and proactively resolve issues. Diagnose and resolve complex connectivity problems. Provide 24/7 support as required. Respond to after‑hours emergencies and lead resolution efforts. Lead network projects, migrations, upgrades, and integrations. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and vendors. Documentation & Training Maintain network diagrams, configurations, and procedures. Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance. The successful candidate must have the following education, experience and/or demonstrated skills: Minimum 7 years in enterprise networking and security; expertise in Cisco IOS, NX‑OS, and enterprise firewall platforms. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience). Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE; Microsoft Azure Network Engineer Associate; industry leader firewall certification or equivalent. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN. Experience with TCP/IP, EIGRP, VLANs, QoS, ACLs, VSS, DNS, DHCP, MPLS, Point‑to‑Point, IPSEC VPN, Cisco Meraki and Catalyst IOS CLI, Windows Server Active Directory/Microsoft Entra ID, WiFi protocols, VPN, NetScaler load balancers, SolarWinds network monitoring, SD‑WAN, VMware networking, and Azure networking (NSG, ExpressRoute, Peering). Proficiency with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools. Work experience with Microsoft Azure platform management. Experience with Mobile Device Management is an asset. Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Ability to manage changing priorities and learn new technologies.
