Job Description Electrical Power System Designer EXP Services Inc. is searching for an Electrical Power System Designer to join our Electrical team at the Markham, Hamilton, London, Ottawa ON office. The successful applicant will be joining a diverse engineering group in Central Canada poised for growth and challenging opportunities well into the future. Be our next Electrical Power System Designer What a day at EXP has in store for you Create and review coordination, grounding, lightning, arc flash, and short circuit studies. Coordinate electrical designs with utilities. Develop electrical protection systems, including protective power relay settings. Interact with other engineering disciplines, designers, and departments throughout the company. Develop working knowledge of IEEE, NFPA and other industry standards. Prepare specifications and technical reports. What Your Experience Looks Like A Power System Designer with minimum two (2) years of professional experience, with background in protective relay coordination and arc flash analysis. Proficient with ETAP and SKM. Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of software. Ability to set up, program, and oversee testing of new and installed electrical equipment. Exceptional organizational skills and an ability to meet deadlines. Ability to communicate and work effectively as a team member in an engineering environment. Basic AutoCAD skills - capable of developing one-line diagrams and 2D drawings related to electrical power systems. REVIT MEP proficiency desired. EXP subscribes to the Workplace Equity Program.
