Position: Senior Financial AnalystLocation: Toronto, ON – Hybrid – 4 days onsite in Corporate Head Office Our client is a Canadian real estate investment firm seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Finance team. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role plays a key part in financial reporting, fund operations, and investor-facing deliverables within a fast-growing, institutional investment platform. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and deliver consolidated fund financial statements in accordance with IFRS on a quarterly basis. Support day‑to‑day fund and holding company operations, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, capital calls, distributions, and credit facility compliance. Assist with quarterly valuation processes and calculate key performance indicators at both asset and fund levels. Prepare financial reports and presentations for investors and support investor relations inquiries. Coordinate interim and year‑end audits, acting as the primary liaison with external auditors. Maintain general ledgers, consolidations, intercompany accounts, and oversight of third‑party manager reporting. Support income tax compliance including Canadian partnership and corporate filings, U.S. partnership returns, and HST. Coach and mentor junior accounting staff while ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. Collaborate cross‑functionally with asset management, investments, development, and investor relations teams. What You Bring: University degree with 3+ years of experience in consolidation and financial reporting, ideally within real estate or asset management. CPA designation or active progress toward completion. Strong working knowledge of IFRS and investment accounting. Experience working in fast‑paced, high‑performing finance teams. Proficiency with accounting systems and tools and advanced Excel skills. Highly detail‑oriented, analytical, and able to work independently. Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team‑focused mindset.
