Our Ontario Region is seeking a Waste Management Lead Engineer to join our North American waste management team, providing traditional and emerging services to waste and energy clients. This role offers mentorship opportunities, professional development through GHD Business School, and participation in industry conferences. It is a chance to grow within an established practice focused on innovative technologies. Key responsibilities include: Needs assessment and identifying emerging issues Driving innovation and improving business practices Designing engineering solutions and standards Knowledge sharing and development Monitoring health, safety, and environment KPIs Leading waste management projects, including waste reduction, segregation, compliance, storage, transport, and disposal Managing client relationships and mentoring staff Liaising with regulators and supporting project proposals Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred), P.Eng. in Ontario, 15+ years in solid waste, and 10+ years in consulting. Valid Ontario driver’s license and proficiency in MS Office are required. Experience with landfill, gas, organic waste processing, and energy projects is an asset.
