Calgary, Canada My Aide In Life Full time

Responsibilities:
- Provide senior care and support to clients in their homes or assisted living facilities
- Assist with activities of daily living that may include some yard work & deep cleaning
- Assist with mobility devices such as walkers and wheelchairs
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
- Plan and prepare meals
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up and laundry

- Help with organizing and the moving/downsizing process
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals

Requirements:
- Previous experience in senior care or caregiving roles is an asset
- Knowledge of dementia care and understanding of the unique needs of individuals with dementia is an asset
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with seniors
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Reliable transportation to travel between client locations
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if required

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 10 per week
