In this full-time role, you'll assist the Store Manager with daily operations at the View Royal Thrift Store. Your responsibilities will include cash handling, processing donations, and maintaining store integrity. You will also support inventory management, ensuring the store is welcoming and organized for customers and donors alike.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise store operations in the Manager's absence
• Conduct customer and donor interactions in a friendly manner
• Manage cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Ensure proper donation processing and merchandise handling
• Maintain store cleanliness and security
Requirements:
• Two years experience in a retail or warehouse environment
• Completion of some high school education
• Proven interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs frequently
• Commitment to The Salvation Army's mission and values
