Heartland Mutual Insurance has an excellent opportunity in our Direct Sales Department for a Direct Sales Representative II. What you will do… Respond to inbound and initiate outbound calls for home, auto, and commercial insurance quotes. Conduct risk assessments and gather accurate information for quotes and renewals. Manage policy renewals, cross-sell products, and request client referrals. Deliver exceptional customer service and recommend tailored coverage solutions. Process policy changes, endorsements, and claims inquiries within binding authority. Maintain detailed and organized client files, including multi-entity accounts. Ensure accurate policy processing and participate in portfolio risk management. Use valuation tools (RCT, Douglas Cost Guide, CoreLogic) for building assessments. Support a superior customer experience by building strong client relationships. Back-up of general office admin duties including mail, downloads, and supply tracking. What you will bring… 3-5 years of P&C insurance experience, preferably in a sales function. Must have a Province of Nova Scotia Insurance License or the ability to obtain within 60 days of hire (assistance provided). Excellent organization and communication skills. Ability to work confidently on your own or collaborate with other teams as required. Knowledge in Power Broker or other Industry Management Systems. Able to multi-task.
