We are currently seeking competent individuals to fulfill the role of Senior Java API Developer to join our dynamic team for our client, one of the major banks. Location Address: 3-4 days/week onsite Toronto downtown location Contract Duration: 6 months up to 2 years pending on performance Required Skills: 10+ years of work experience as a Java developer with a preference for Java 8 or 11. Experience building scalable, enterprise‑level technology stacks with Java but ideally with a broad set of tools Extensive experience working with Spring Boot framework and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB Experience with container orchestration technology, like Cloud Foundry or Kubernetes Experience working on projects that involve Application Security like oAuth2 and/or SSO Experience with event stream processing technologies such as Kafka or Pub/Sub Experience with Continuous Integration Continuous Deployment (ClCD) Experience with REST API design Worked on productionizing NodeJS servers Knowledge in Object Oriented and Functional Design Preferably within banking Soft Skills Required: Display a passion for driving teams towards high performance and a deep pride in quality craftsmanship that delights users A self‑starter type, learning new technologies and refining current applications Excellent communication including the ability to distil technical details into simple terms Has a passion for well‑designed products and not afraid to share and explain your ideas Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering or equivalent Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Contract Job function Information Technology Banking Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Dawn InfoTek Inc. by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr
