Human Resources Business Partner (Hybrid) Location: Greater Montreal Metropolitan Area (Montreal, Quebec, Canada)Offer: CA$70,000.00–CA$80,000.00 (Full-time) Role Purpose We are seeking an awesome HR Business Partner to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to our leaders, working closely with them to drive business success through people-centered strategies. You’ll build strong, impactful relationships across all levels and provide analytical insights to support decision-making. Key Responsibilities Partner with Sama department heads on talent-related matters: career development, performance management, promotions, conflict resolution, terminations, etc. Act as a trusted advisor to leaders across all levels and multiple departments. Provide primary HR support for employees on a wide range of career-related topics (excluding benefits administration and leaves of absence). Advise and partner with leaders to ensure talent is engaged, retained, and developed. Coach leaders at all levels, especially VP and above. Collaborate with other People team members to transform identified opportunities into programs, projects, policies, and initiatives that enhance the employee experience. Project manage and lead the HRBP team to develop and implement talent management programmes at Sama. Lead talent management initiatives with designated leaders: Quarterly growth conversation launch and review. Annual promotion and salary increase process. Engagement survey planning, execution, and follow-through. Partner with relevant People team members and the organization on learning & development, diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging programs and trainings. Other duties as required. Qualifications 4–6 years of HR experience, preferably in a Business Partner role. Ability to have a significant impact as a strategic HR advisor. Solves problems efficiently with minimal supervision. Proven ability to build strong business relationships that impact client groups. Demonstrates exceptional judgment and autonomy. Capable of carrying out and/or leading projects from strategy to delivery. Strong understanding of HR & talent management best practices, programs, and interventions. Outstanding decision-making skills. Highly dedicated and responsive; demonstrates outstanding follow-through and the ability to get the job done quickly. Experience in learning & development – a plus. Experience in diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging programming – a plus. Experience in the tech industry, ideally from a similarly sized organization – a plus. Fluent in English and French.
