Data Engineering and Infrastructure Design, develop, and maintain ETL programs to our Analytics databases. Create and manage robust, scalable data marts including transactional, in force, new business, quote, claims, billing, and experience datasets. Collaborate with IT and Actuarial colleagues to ensure alignment on data architecture and sourcing. Data Quality and Governance Develop processes and standards to ensure data integrity, quality, and availability across all Actuarial databases. Conduct regular audits, monitoring, and issue resolution for data anomalies. Document data definitions, lineage, and transformation logic to support transparency and repeatability. Business Analysis and Ad Hoc Data Delivery Investigation and execution of complex, time-sensitive ad hoc data requests from Actuarial, Finance, Underwriting, and Executive teams. Translate business questions into analytical tasks and provide meaningful, actionable insights. Present findings clearly, using appropriate data visualization and narrative storytelling techniques. System Testing and Actuarial Support Support system testing related to rate changes, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with actuarial models and assumptions. Collaborate with Actuarial team members to validate test cases and outcomes, and provide insights to improve system changes. Assist with model input/output processes and ensure integration with actuarial tools. Recommend and implement improvements to existing data workflows, tools, and systems. Mentor junior analysts or team members as needed and contribute to a culture of data excellence. What you will bring... University degree (Computer Science, Data Science or a related discipline). A minimum of 2 years experience in a data analysis role, preferably with P&C insurance exposure or a significant educational background in a related discipline. Proficiency with SAS, SQL and Database Design concepts. Knowledge of Guidewire and P&C insurance is highly preferred. Demonstrated strength in oral and written communication skills. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team. The salary range for this role is \$78,000 - \$114,000. The salary for the successful candidate will be determined by various factors including but not limited to an individual’s relevant experience, knowledge, skills, along with internal equity, and market considerations.
