Teach senior mathematics in person at Oxford Learning Oakville North, using strong subject knowledge and communication skills after school.
This part-time Math Teacher/Tutor supports Grades 9–12 students at varying levels. You will guide understanding across advanced functions, algebra, trigonometry, calculus, and vectors. The position suits candidates with tutoring experience and knowledge of the current curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach up to three students at different levels
- Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
- Complete post-lesson notes after instruction
- Provide daily student communication updates
- Maintain a friendly, professional manner
Requirements:
- Relevant bachelor’s degree or similar certification
- Grade 9–12 mathematics teaching or tutoring experience
- Strong English written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of senior mathematics curriculum and core topics
- Availability for evenings and some Saturdays
