Iris's client, one of the world's largest financial institutions is looking to hire a Business Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity.


Our client is one of the world's largest financial institutions, serving individual consumers, small and middle market businesses, and large corporations with a full range of banking, investing, asset management, and other financial and risk-management products and services. It is a leading provider of global corporate and investment banking service.


Position: Business Analyst (Capital Market & US regulatory Env)

Location: Toronto, ON / Halifax, NS

Duration: Long Term


MUST HAVE:

  • A strong understanding of the capital markets business and/or trade supervision, particularly the US regulatory environment.
  • A deep understanding of technology systems, particularly order management systems, trade data and system integration concepts.
  • Business analysis experience in complex programs with high frequency of requests and multiple priorities.
  • Ability to understand complex systems at both a high level and a detailed level with the ability to identify potential features and implementation approaches.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

NICE-TO-HAVE

  • Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses
  • Experience with big data, machine learning, or trade exception reporting
