Service small construction equipment and tools as a Small Engine Mechanic in Stayner, Ontario, working with diesel, gas, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Cooper Equipment Rentals seeks a customer-oriented mechanic with at least one year of related mechanical experience. You will inspect, repair, assemble, and test equipment while documenting service information. Experience with two- or four-stroke engines and brands including Stihl, Wacker, Milwaukee, or Husqvarna is an asset. Applicants must reside in Canada and have legal work authorization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean, lubricate, and maintain small construction equipment
- Test engines and inspect malfunctioning parts
- Repair or replace worn, defective, or broken components
- Document service and repair information accurately
- Follow safety rules and maintain organized workspaces
Requirements:
- Minimum one year of related mechanical experience
- Small Engine Technician certificate or equivalent experience
- Experience with two- or four-stroke engines
- Own tools or actively building a complete toolset
- Ability to lift approximately 50 pounds
