Base pay range CA$75,000.00/yr - CA$110,000.00/yr Senior Bilingual Recruiter - HIRING ENGINEERS, MANAGERS & DIRECTORS. Engineer (packaging manufacturing) – Brampton What You’ll Do As an Engineer on our Brampton team, you’ll play a key role in improving processes, optimizing equipment, and supporting production teams—all while contributing to the success and efficiency of our manufacturing operation. Your work will directly influence productivity, reliability, and product quality. Your Responsibilities: Designing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing methods using deep knowledge of product design, materials, tooling, and equipment capabilities Analyzing space, workflow, and layout requirements to maximize efficiency Communicating technical information and manufacturing capabilities to support production Collaborating with vendors and acting as a Subject Matter Expert for training operators, helpers, packers, and supervisors Monitoring equipment reliability and implementing procedural or mechanical changes to meet operational targets Working with supervisors and operators to roll out new and improved procedures Supporting improvement requests and developing corrective measures for facility needs Maintaining accurate documentation on critical equipment Researching design proposals, specifications, and manuals to evaluate feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements Investigating equipment failures and recommending solutions that enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and computer-generated reports Collaborating with cross-functional personnel to implement effective operating procedures Specifying system components or modifying products to meet design and performance requirements Performing other engineering duties as needed What You Bring Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (manufacturing or mechanical) 2–5 years of manufacturing engineering experience Strong understanding of engineering concepts with hands‑on problem‑solving skills Experience with maintenance management software, Microsoft Office, Visio, and Outlook A commitment to confidentiality and sound judgment Excellent organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities Clear, confident communication skills across verbal, written, and presentation formats A proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with strong decision‑making abilities Self‑motivation, professionalism, and the drive to succeed in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment Seniority level Associate Employment type Full‑time Job function Manufacturing Industries Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
