The GIS Technician role involves producing high-quality client-ready maps in ArcGIS Pro, managing project data, and ensuring thorough quality checks. You will collaborate with GIS coordinators, project managers, and field staff to streamline workflows and address data issues throughout each project. This position supports flexible remote work while encouraging occasional travel for team-building and training.
Key Responsibilities:
• Produce accurate and clear maps in ArcGIS Pro
• Gather and organize vital project spatial data
• Maintain project geodatabases and supporting files
• Integrate CAD and survey data into workflows
• Conduct documented self-checks before final submissions
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in GIS or related field
• Practical experience with ArcGIS Pro required
• Understanding of coordinate systems and transformations
• Ability to interpret CAD or engineering plans
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
