About the Role:

Our client, a leading aerospace company based in Mississauga, Ontario, is seeking a skilled Aircraft Assembler with 5 to 10 years of experience in structural aircraft assembly. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team committed to producing high-quality aerospace components and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform structural assembly of aircraft components, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and blueprints.
  • Install, adjust, and fit structural parts and subassemblies using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Inspect work to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Work with engineering and quality teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues during assembly.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments effectively.
  • Follow work instructions, manuals, and engineering drawings.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company and industry safety standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the assembly process.

Qualifications:

  • 5 to 10 years of proven experience in structural aircraft assembly .
  • Strong understanding of aircraft structures and assembly processes.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with aerospace materials, tools, and processes.
  • Knowledge of industry quality and safety standards, including AS9100 and ISO 9001.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
