Now united under one banner and backed by WELL Health Technologies, we are scaling our impact with a fresh vision, a stronger portfolio, and a renewed commitment to helping organizations build lasting resilience in today’s evolving threat landscape. In today’s threat landscape, complexity is the constant. At CYBERWELL, we are built to help organizations not just keep up - but get ahead. CYBERWELL is a cybersecurity company purpose built for scale, change, and the realities of modern enterprise. We deliver integrated solutions that span the full cybersecurity lifecycle - from offensive security exposure management to GRC, architecture and engineering, threat intelligence, and 24/7 managed detection and response. We partner with enterprise leaders who are navigating regulatory pressure, evolving risk, and growing infrastructure. Whether it's a healthcare provider safeguarding patient data, a government agency defending critical systems, or a tech or financial firm scaling securely - our team helps unify strategy, reduce complexity, and strengthen cyber resilience. Who we need We are hiring a Security Engineer, Vulnerability & ITSM Enablement to join CYBERWELL’s growing cybersecurity team and help build our new Vulnerability Management-as-a-Service (VMaaS) offering. Reporting to the Manager, Security Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and scaling the service - connecting tools, workflows, and teams to strengthen client security. As our new Security Engineer, Vulnerability & ITSM Enablement, you will serve as the primary subject matter expert for vulnerability management, working alongside experienced security engineers in adjacent specializations, including cloud, identity, and detection engineering. You will help define how the program operates, shaping the standards, processes, and automation that make it effective and scalable. This is a remote role based in Canada. Who you are You combine technical depth with curiosity and initiative. You may be coming from a security analyst or specialist background and are now ready to take the next step toward an engineering-focused career. You thrive in environments where you can solve problems hands-on, automate workflows, and see your impact in action. You have experience with vulnerability management tools such as Tenable or Qualys, understand how to work within SIEM and ITSM frameworks, and bring a working knowledge of Azure and identity controls. What’s in it for you Impact that matters. You will help build and deliver a Vulnerability Management-as-a-Service program that strengthens the cybersecurity posture of organizations across critical sectors. From protecting essential systems to reducing risk across complex environments, your work will directly contribute to safeguarding the infrastructure that powers communities and industries. Growth and opportunity. This is an ideal role for someone ready to transition from analyst or specialist into a hands-on engineering career. You’ll be joining CYBERWELL at a pivotal stage of expansion, contributing directly to the continued development and success of our growing service line. As the business evolves, you’ll have the opportunity to advance into a Security Analyst, Senior Consultant, or technical specialist role—or progress into leadership as a Manager or Team Lead. Autonomy and influence. You will have the freedom to innovate, recommend tools and processes, and help define how vulnerability management integrates across client environments. Your ideas will shape both the program’s evolution and CYBERWELL’s broader cybersecurity capabilities, allowing you to make an immediate and lasting impact. As our new Security Engineer – Vulnerability & ITSM Enablement you will: Build and operationalize. You will help design and launch CYBERWELL’s new Vulnerability Management-as-a-Service offering, laying the foundation for a scalable, client-ready program. You will configure, operate, and tune platforms such as Qualys, integrating vulnerability data into SIEM and ITSM environments to drive real-time visibility and actionable insights. As the service matures, you will contribute to ongoing process development, automation, and innovation, helping shape its future evolution. Strengthen and secure. You will translate scan results into prioritized remediation plans, collaborating with infrastructure, DevOps, and application teams to close gaps and reduce risk. You will apply risk-based methodologies and threat intelligence to guide decision-making, ensuring that security enables, rather than restricts, business operations. Automate and improve. You will design and implement repeatable workflows within ServiceNow or Jira Service Management, embedding security hygiene into daily operations. You will develop dashboards and reports to track maturity over time, continuously optimizing for efficiency, transparency, and measurable impact. Collaborate and influence. You will partner with security engineers, IT leaders, and client stakeholders to promote a culture of enablement and accountability. Through communication, education, and example, you will help teams adopt best practices, strengthen security posture, and align technology with business goals. You bring: The technical foundation. You have a solid background in IT or security and are ready to deepen your technical expertise in an engineering-focused role. You bring hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools such as Tenable or Qualys, as well as familiarity with SIEM platforms and ITSM frameworks. You understand how to operate within complex enterprise environments and apply security principles to real-world systems. The cloud and identity knowledge. You have experience working within Azure environments and a strong grasp of identity and access controls. You understand how to implement and support security policies and configurations that align with modern cloud security practices. The curiosity and drive. You are eager to learn, build, and grow in the cybersecurity field - whether your long-term path leads toward management, architecture, or consulting. You are hands-on, resourceful, and motivated by the opportunity to help design and evolve a new service offering from the ground up. The problem-solving mindset. You think critically and act decisively when faced with complex or unfamiliar challenges. You can analyze data, prioritize vulnerabilities, and communicate recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. The collaboration and communication. You are confident yet humble, capable of explaining security concepts clearly, engaging with clients, and building trust through partnership. You bring attention to detail, accountability, and a genuine desire to contribute to a high-performing, team-oriented environment. Preferred credentials. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or SSCP are an asset, as are Microsoft credentials like SC-200, SC-300, or SC-400. What you can expect from our interview process: A virtual interview with a Talent Advisor discussing your interest in the role and your experience. The conversation will be recorded using BrightHire, an AI-powered video interview tool. More details will be shared when you are invited to interview. A virtual technical interview with the Manager, Security Engineering. This will also be an opportunity to learn more about the role and projected company growth. A final virtual interview with the VP Operations and an opportunity to learn more about the team and culture. Apply now. Interested in applying but worried you don\'t have it all?
