Responsibilities This role involves identifying suitable data sources, performing initial quality checks, supporting the prioritization of requirements, conducting exploratory data analysis, designing experiments, testing hypotheses, and finalizing experiment dimensions. Assessment and validation of models by applying best practices for testing and tuning are essential to ensure accuracy, fit, validity, and robustness. The role tests developed software, translates business requirements into projects and tasks, and aligns activities with the overall business strategy. Executing projects from discovery to solution design, model building, and results communication is a fundamental aspect. The role may recommend new processes and ways of working while presenting to and influencing team members and business audiences using appropriate frameworks to convey clear messages based on business and stakeholder understanding. As a senior data scientist, this role leads projects and provides guidance to junior data scientists. The role may supervise junior data scientists and review their work to ensure the quality standards are met. Technical Requirements Minimum 4 years of experience as a data scientist. Experience in time‑series analysis, forecasting, regression models, and segmentation is required. Ability to gather insights from data and generate action items is required. In addition to standard ML approaches, experience with LLMs and GenAI is preferred. Exposure to multiple different projects is a must. Proficiency in Python is a must. Proficiency in SQL is a must. Familiarity with GCP is a plus.
