We’re excited to share an opportunity for an existing vacancy as Controls Engineer . In this role, you will play a critical part in driving automation and process reliability within a high-growth manufacturing environment. You'll support continuous improvement initiatives, optimize production equipment, and ensure seamless integration of controls systems to enhance safety, quality, and throughput. Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLCs, HMIs, and related automation systems (Siemens preferred). Support production with control system issues to minimize downtime and maintain equipment reliability. Lead commissioning and integration of new automated equipment and modifications to existing systems. Develop and maintain electrical schematics, controls documentation, and technical standards. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for automation and control issues. Collaborate cross-functionally with maintenance, engineering, and operations to support efficiency and safety initiatives. Provide technical direction to electrical/controls technicians as required. Ensure controls systems comply with safety and regulatory standards. Mandatory Requirements: Degree or diploma in Electrical, Controls, Mechatronics Engineering, or related discipline. 5+ years of experience as a Controls Engineer in a manufacturing environment. Proven programming and troubleshooting experience with Siemens PLCs (Siemens S7, TIA Portal, and Simotion). Experience with industrial networking, VFDs, sensors, and automation safety systems. Strong electrical and controls troubleshooting abilities and understanding of industrial equipment. Ability to read and create electrical schematics (AutoCAD or similar). Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a hands‑on approach.
