Fuze Logistics Services is looking for a Cash Application Specialist , who is meticulous, organized, willing to learn and has good team spirit Key responsibilities: Matching incoming payments (checks, wire transfers, electronic payments) to specific customer invoices or other accounts receivable items. Comparing payment records with bank statements and other financial records to identify and resolve any discrepancies. Investigating and resolving issues related to incorrect or missing payments, such as unidentified remittances or short payments. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all cash transactions and related documentation. Preparing reports on cash allocation activities, including reconciliation results and outstanding balances. Interacting with customers, credit control, and other departments to address payment-related issues and provide updates. Ensuring that all cash allocation activities adhere to company policies and procedures. Skills and qualifications: 2 years of experience in Accounting/Bookkeeping. Financial Acumen: Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial transactions. Attention to Detail: Accuracy and precision in recording and reconciling financial data. Analytical Skills: Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records. Communication Skills: Effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cash allocation. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively. Software Proficiency: Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
