Apply today and help us build what matters. Your Impact Starts Here Graham is actively recruiting a Chief Estimator for the Buildings Division. Reporting to the Pre-Construction Director, this role requires deep expertise in conceptual estimating, budgeting, tendering, proposals, and construction methodology. The Chief Estimator will oversee the buildings and large projects estimating teams while working closely with the Director to refine leadership skills and pursuit strategies. Your Role in Building What Matters – From Office to Site Lead estimating and bidding: Oversee pre-construction estimates, bid strategies, and financial outcomes Ensure estimate accuracy: Review scopes, specs, and cost details for completeness Manage risk and strategy: Approve risk mitigation, cost-saving measures, and competitive bid approaches Mentor and lead team – Train and guide estimators, ensuring high performance and growth Build strong relationships – Maintain partnerships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams The Right Tools for the Job Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field; Gold Seal Certification, LEED, LEAN, MRICS, and CIQS are assets Experience: 20+ years in construction estimating with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role; proven success on $100M+ projects Skills: Expertise in estimating, budgeting, tendering, and bid strategies and proficiency in design-build, IPD, and Construction Management Compensation Salary Range $172,000 to $210,000 per annum Salary will commensurate with education and experience 3 to 5 weeks of vacation per year, with credit for prior industry experience Lay the Foundation for Your Next Career Move.
