We are seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the position of Management Consultant. You will be working alongside DBM’s President and Chief ClarAbility Consultant, Doug Dedman. In this role you will be responsible for the management and execution of project delivery. This is a high-touch, client-facing role where you will be working directly with the executive and leadership teams of large organizations across the world. Success in this position will involve building strong client relationships while successfully implementing process improvements and achieving project objectives. Job Responsibilities Project Management : Ensure the progress of projects, resolve bottlenecks, achieve objectives and ensure projects are completed within scope in collaboration with client sales teams, operations teams, IT and other business units. Delivery Execution : Lead S&OP meetings, communicate objectives, and ensure strategic alignment for clients. Relationship Management : Develop and maintain productive relationships with project stakeholders at all levels of a client’s business to ensure the progress and achievement of S&OP initiatives. Data Analysis : Identify client challenges and provide recommendations based on the analysis of client data and stakeholder interviews. Draw insights from complex processes (i.e. manufacturing) in global organizations and direct clients on the pathway towards solutions, which can include new technologies, process modifications and education. Change Management : Lead organizational change, ensuring that client teams are engaged, leadership is involved, and teams are supported through implementation program to achieve project deliverables. Also, provide input into implementation methodology and continuous improvement initiatives. Ideal Candidate Profile Analytical Thinker: Has the ability to gather and analyze large amounts of data to identify issues, opportunities, and solutions. Must be able to efficiently handle information and extract actionable insights. Problem-Solver: Strong problem-solving skills to develop effective strategies and solutions for complex business challenges. Sees the client’s success as our success. Must be committed to driving client results and has a strong sense of ownership for their success. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey ideas, findings, and recommendations clearly and persuasively. Interpersonal Skills: Able to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Must have a proven track record of managing relationships and achieving client’s objectives. Project Management: Skilled at managing multiple projects and tasks efficiently, ensuring that deadlines and objectives are met. Is detailed, and highly organized, and able to operate in many different business areas across different industries. Adaptability: The ability to adapt to different industries, business environments, and client needs. Willing to learn and put skills to the test. This role will grow with you as the business grows. Leadership: The ability to lead teams, manage change, and influence others effectively. Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of relevant tools, software, and methodologies for data analysis, project management, and process improvement. Business Acumen: A deep understanding of business principles, industry trends, and economic factors that impact organizations. Desire to Travel: Occasional on-site client visitsacross North America and internationally. Requirements Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, supply chain, operations, or a related field 2-4 years of consulting experience, ideally with corporate and business unit levels Business acumen and an understanding of sales, operations, organizational planning and project management concepts Advanced Microsoft Excel skills considered an asset. Additional data analytics skills are a plus Strong problem-solving skills and an eye for optimization Valid passport (international travel is required for this role) Why work for DBM Systems?
